If you enjoy trying Wordle variants that are more challenging or just a little different, then Xordle is another great option you’ll likely love. It works just like Wordle, but you’re required to find two five-letter words simultaneously within eight guesses—and the two words cannot share any letters.
If you’ve tried the game and find yourself stuck, or you’re down to your last guesses and want to check the day’s solution to maintain your winning streak, this page will provide quick hints and the answer.

How Xordle Works
As mentioned above, Xordle uses the same mechanics as Wordle. You guess five-letter words, and the color clues work in a similar way: a green tile means the letter is correct and in the right position for exactly one word, yellow means the letter appears in the other word but in the wrong position, and gray means the letter is not in either word.
The only difference is that instead of guessing one word like in Wordle, you guess two words, similar to Dordle. However, there’s a small catch—and in my opinion, it’s what truly makes the game unique: the two words cannot share any letters.
So when you see a green clue, it means that one of the day’s mystery words has that letter in that exact position. Keeping this rule in mind is crucial, as it should strongly guide your guesses and overall strategy when playing Xordle.
Finally, there’s another feature of the game worth keeping in mind as you guess the mystery words: their theme. The two mystery words are almost always thematically related, so this becomes especially helpful once you’ve figured out the first word and are searching for the second.
The game also provides a free starting clue at the beginning, which is usually connected to both mystery words in some way. All of these elements are useful pointers that make the game not only solvable, but also very engaging.
As a bonus, when you solve the day’s puzzle, you’re rewarded with a screenful of lovely AI-generated images related to the theme of the day’s words. These images act as a small reward for finishing the game.
After playing more rounds, you’ll also notice that the images serve a special purpose: they help clarify what the theme of the mystery words was. That extra touch is a nice bonus and adds to the overall appeal of the game.
