How Weddle Works

Each day, you’re presented with a silhouette of the mystery NFL player, along with clues about their:

  • Team
  • Position
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Age

After every guess, Weddle provides feedback through a color-coded system:

I. Green: Indicates an exact match for that attribute.

II. Yellow: Signals that your guess is close but not entirely correct. For example:

  • In the Division column, yellow means you guessed the correct conference but not the exact division.
  • In Height, Age, or Weight, yellow means your guess is within 2 units of the correct value.

III. Gray: Shows that the guessed attribute doesn’t match the mystery player at all.

Your goal is to guess the player in the fewest attempts, with the feedback guiding you closer to the correct answer.

How to Play Weddle

I. Start with a Guess: Think of a current NFL player and enter their name.

II. Interpret Feedback: Use the green, yellow, and gray indicators to refine your next guesses:

  • Focus on attributes that turn green for exact matches.
  • Use yellow indicators to figure out nearby divisions or physical stats.

Avoid repeating attributes marked gray.

III. Make Your Way to the Answer: Continue guessing until you identify the mystery player within the allowed number of attempts.

Game Modes

Normal Mode:

  • The mystery player is always a current fantasy-relevant player (WR, RB, QB, or TE).
  • You have eight guesses to solve the puzzle.

Hard Mode:

  • The mystery player can be any active NFL player, regardless of position.
  • In this mode, yellow in the position column means you’re on the correct side of the ball (offense, defense, or special teams).
  • You have ten guesses to uncover the player.
